Question roof repair

I have a small rip on the rubber roof( 4in.). What is the best product that some of you have used to repair the roof.

Has any one used Eternal bond tape and how did it work?

Thanks for the help...

I know camping world sells repair kits. Eternal tape is used to seal seams, so I imagine it would work here as well. Someone will come along with a definite answer though. In the mean time check out camping worlds website on roof repair kits.

A large tree branch fell on my roof back in 2008 that made a cut in my roof of about an inch. I repaired it with an Eternabond repair kit and have not noticed any leakage after five years.

X3 on eternabond but if you have insurance they will pay for a new roof.
They did on mine and mine only had a 1 inch tear.
Good luck

Had a branch poke a few 1/2" holes, maybe 4-5 close together near the edge.
Eternabond tape 1 year ago and not problems in a lot of heavy rain.

Eternabond tape is great for repairs but make sure you clean the area per their instructions for the tape to hold best.

Another vote for Eternabond tape. I used it on a small leak on our old Kiwi about 4 years ago. Excellent product. As said, follow the instructions.

A RV dealership (not jayco) suggested that my roof(on last TT) might get some holes poked in it from tree branches.

Just a note on the etherbond tape. I used it last year with poor results, I determined I applied it wrong. I used it on the edge of the roof, where the roof transitions from horizontal to vertical. After a few months of head scratching (electrical tape worked great during this time). I reapplied the tape, and it has worked great ever since. What I did wrong the first time was to stretch the tape, as I rolled it around the edge.
