Hello fellow HTT owners, need some help diagnosing this problem. I've got a 2008 23b. I just discovered about 9sq ft of rotten subfloor by the back of the trailer. I trying to determine where this leak would have come from. Does anyone have schematics for this trailer? I'm wondering if it's not a burst pvc pipe that might be running under the subfloor?
Any insight as to the source of the problem and how to repair would be much appreciated. I'm a weekend warrior but have never tried my hand at tt repairs.
Thanks in advance! Attachment 13291Attachment 13291
Was the floor wet or is this old damage. Either way it could have come from a number of areas. Is it possibly from rain water coming in from underneath?

It's old damage. The floor was not wet at all. On the other side of the right wall is the bathroom. I took out the toilet and cut the vinyl floor in that area and found its also moldy so I'm thinking toilet or shower related. The floor looks rather solid though so it might be mildew/mold and not rot. I've sprayed it down with some mold spray and will try to clean it off in a few days. We'll see how it turns out.
Thanks for the input. In fact the wood wasn't punky so I removed the moldy parts by washing and sanding down the wood. I think I also found the source of the leak: decomposing toilet seal valve + toilet not really torqued down properly. At least I hope that was the source of the leak. Now I just need to find a decent deal on vinyl sheeting. Any thoughts on vinyl planks? They seem quite heavy compared to sheeting...
