screen for awning on 201 17C

I'm a newbie to camping and just bought a 2010 17C Hybrid. We've got one trip under our belt and love it so far. Whe we bought our unit, the sales guy showed us a big bag with a cloth bunched up inside and said it was a screen to attach to the awning. As it turns out, it was a camper cover (included free of charge with the sale of the camper). But it got me thinking: Does anyone hang or attach a screen to the awning? Are there custom screens made for this or is it better to just purchase a separate screen house?
