size of electric tongue jack

I have a 23J..similar to 23B and am thinking about putting on a power tongue jack this year. What size should I buy? I am thinking the bigger the better (less strain on the jack) but want to get some input.

I would go bigger so it doesn't take as much to run it up and you also have to consider that when hooking up to tv you have to raise the back of tv to hook up equalizer bars which means you have to take into account lifting the weight of the back of the truck to some degree

3500 would be a good size.

Look at the Barker VIP 3500. You won't be disappointed. You'll get what you pay for.

Bigger is better.. get the biggest one you an and in the future when you change RV's have them swap out the tongue jacks.

I bought a Husky Brute 4500 for our 23B with remote before last years camping season. LOVE IT!! I'm 6" 250 lb. So let's say I'm not in hockey shape anymore, and I overheat easy during hook up and set up. Great for lifting TT and rear of Ridgeline for hook up, and disconnect. Remote great for leveling from inside. I put my 4' level on the counter and dial it in.

I put an Atwood 3500 on our now gone X23B. I chose bigger than really necessary for the reasons already stated. In the2 yrs we used it the Atwood performed without any problems. However, its "hat" stands a little tall and with the front bunk down there was maybe 3/4" clearance, loaded there was a light contact. Since it was minimal I never did anything about it and can report no issues. When it was the bride and I hitching/unhitching she would operate the jack while I did the easy part. It was nice hitting the CG and saying, "if you'll unhitch I'll get started on....".
