Slide lights always have power even when main light switch is off

Jayco 23b 2010 Lights on my sofa slide and over the kitchen sink always have power even when main light switch is off. Same happens whether plugged in to shore power or just on battery power. Is that normal? Just bought it & I'm checking it out.

On our 19H, the main switch only controls the lights in the center "main hall" area. All others are independent.

ETA: our switch is at the door, so this allows you to turn on/off the lights from the door without having to stumble into the TT.
