Slide motor

I currently have a 2006 23b and at this time my slide motor is leaking my issue is i removed the motor and thought i could contact company that manufactured it and get new one i called them with model # and the motor they sent was not the same and thats what they show as replacement so i sent it back . Then I contacted a jayco dealer they took my vin# and contacted jayco they sent the motor it called for and its not the right motor does anyone have any suggestions on who or where to get the right motor. Thanks

Why not have the Jayco dealer install a new one for you?

Sorry took so long to get back but i took on the task myself to save labor cost and know having issues locating correct motor or distributor

In a rig that old, could the motor they are sending you be a replacement? I would be happy with a replacement. If it fits and works. A motor that old may not even be available in the exact same model #as it was in 2006.

Just a comment, You are in a better position to know details that we can't know.

Yes i would happy with any replacement and I am definitely taking any suggestions of any manufacturers I can purchase from Help!

I sure will right now I am waiting for the dealer that I bought the rv from to get into contact with jayco . Apparently in 2006 amidst production they changed the type of slide motor they were using so they are tracking down the right motor thanks

Thanks and for your info All that Jayco would give me was a slide motor # 0502502 but they wouldn't let me order it from them that they can only ship to an RV dealer.

Norty, I did that yesterday and sent them a pic. and they came back with a price of $573.56 then I saw your second post of other web sites to try and I believe I found one or should I say many for around $232.00. Thanks for the recommendation.
