Slide out lube

Should you lube the slide out track? If so, what lube is recommended?
Thanks!

Only with "DRY" Teflon spray. You don't want to use anything that will attract/collect dirt and dust.

My Jayco manual says DO NOT lubricate. I have been trusting that and haven't.

Just repeating :

"Lippert Service Technician, Shawn Clark, shows you how he lubricates two important parts of the slide out. Shawn mentioned that you should use CRC Power Lube with PTFE to lubricate the slide out parts.

PTFE is the generic name for the synthetic lubricant discovered and marketed as Teflon by DuPont. "

Yes. Just found this out myself. Use a dry graphite lub. I found spray can at car quest.
