I ordered my covers on Monday and they were here on Thursday. Just in time for our journey to Jetty Park!

I highly suggest that you get the super high winds model (gizmos). I bought mine before that had any high wind models. I've been woken many nights and needed to take them off because the were blowing around like crazy.

How well do these work to keep the heat in when it's cold out? Seems a lot of people seem to use them to keep the heat out during the hot summer season, what about the early spring/late fall when it's cold out? Thanks

I have the super high wind model. Cant wait to try them. I bought them used off another family who was trading in their hybrid for a full TT. Before that, I had simply taken a tarp, and using spray adhesive I glued solar blankets onto them. Tied down with cords. Works just as well for WAY less cost when there's no wind (compared to the other family's camper when they had the PUG's installed.

I thought I read in another thread that with. The sewn in Velcro he was going to leave them on, rather than remove them when closed. Anyone else leave them on?

Not me... to afraid to mess with the seal on the bunkends...In the winter you install them in the opposite direction which keeps the heat inside the tent end!!!

We only use them in the cooler months when the heat goes on. We have a 17z. I find that just keeping the bunk ends open during the day cools the trailer off good enough. We always get questions about them and the last time we used them was in early May. I'm heading out next weekend and will be installing them as soon as I can.
They are great in the cooler months because they prevent the dreaded condensation from forming inside the bunk ends. Before the gizmos, you would get drops of water hitting your face while you we're sleeping. Now, you stay perfectly dry. I couldn't recommend them enough.
I'm heading out 10/3 and have the super high wind ones so ill snap some pics for everyone.

I made a discovery about the PUG's recently, at least as they apply to our X23B. The tents are different lengths. The bunks themselves are the same size but due to the slope of the front the tent is a little longer. The smart folks at PUG know this and make the covers in different lengths so they fit.
Guess how I discovered this...................
I wrote "F" or "R" on all corners with a sharpie. Now if I can only remember to look at them as I'm putting them on.

We had PUGs for 5 years with our pop up. We haven't bought them for the HTT yet since we were only getting in a couple of trips in it before winter (figured it's an expense I can put off til winter so I have them in the Spring). After a very cold night this weekend (40s outside), we had the wet condensation on the inside of the canvas in the morning from the warmth inside the trailer. Yuck. Never had that in the pup with the PUGs. Can't wait to have them now! We will get the high wind version.

Southpaw, regarding condensation issues inside the tent ends. I just crack the bathroom roof vent, about an inch, and in each bunk end I unzip a side window about 4-6 inches. I keep the zippers in the upper corners of the window. It was 35 degrees out this past weekend and had zero condensation; I do not use the PUG insulation units.

I wish I had opted for the super high wind option since they blew part way off in the middle of a storm.

Contact PUG, they may be able to rework your covers to make them the Super High Wind version.
