Swarmed with Boxelders!

My trailer seems to be a boxelder bug magnet. They are all over my trailer, hiding in all the nooks and crannies. Anyone suggestions to rid these pests? Thanks!

Looks like stink bugs we ran into a few weeks ago.
I killed a bunch with a solution of Dawn in a spray bottle, but didn't prevent more live ones from coming.
I just had a bunch of dead ones in all my nooks and crannys.
Best to just try to keep them outside and they leave around dusk.

We finally left after 24 hrs and lost a nights fee. Carried quite a few home between the TT and TV.
Three weeks later, wife found 4 under the bed mattress as we were preparing camper for storage.

They will ruin a good camping trip.

I had them on my house and used a spray bottle with soap and water... It will kill them but its not the long time solution. Do you have a tree close to your trailer? They are attracted to a certain type of tree. The cold weather will kill them for the winter but will be back next year.

The trailer was parked about 50 yards from some trees. I just found it odd that they were attracted to my trailer but were barely noticeable on the trailers parked next to mine.

They seem to like white.
I have a white TV and TT, but everyone in the CG was having issues with them.

I had an infestation of them last year on (oddly) just the south side of my house. I had re-sided the house the year before and they crawled under the siding and seemed to have reproduced for a few months before finally going away. I would hit them with a water hose or just smash them with a fly swatter but the they kept crawling out from under the siding now and then....never knew why they moved on but glad they did.
