Table x23b

Has anyone replaced the table? I have a 2015 and the table is very heavy and has to be lifted up for use by two people

I have heard of people buying a small folding table.

One technique you can try with your existing table, when it is folded down and in place, is to tip it up, walk it up on to the seat cushion's, then open the legs, and tip it down onto its feet. These keeps from lifting it, you primary just tipping it, and a lot of the weigh r is supported.

Do you drive with yours on top of the supports for making it into a bed?

Our 2013 X20E is the baby brother to the X23B, most likely the table is identical.

We use our table outside. It frees up floor space inside, and the few times we've had to stay in due to rain we really don't need the table.

One thing we hated from day one with the table was the weird cantilever legs they use now. Not easy to collapse, not easy to carry outside. So I replaced them with the older style flat folding legs.

Then on one trip in our first summer the table got soaked in a rain storm when we weren't at the CG. Needless to say the press wood swelled up and ruined the table.

I had a guy I work with who's into woodworking make me a new table out of cedar. All I had to pay for was materials, about $50. Well worth it! It's about 1/3 as heavy as the original table, and it's stronger! All I did was sealed it and rain doesn't do a thing to it.

That'd a good idea! Particle board is incredibly heavy.

Hate that table that came with the 2015 x23b after 2 replacements due to the supports being placed incorrect at manufacture, I leave it in garage for resale/trade purpose. My husband cut a piece of plywood exact fit that we use if someone sleeps there using a step support under for stability. It store perfectly behund sofa when not in use and we use folding tray tables instead. Works great!

We too took the table out and replaced it with a small folding table. The original was too cumbersome to maneuver. We rarely need the sleeping area so it's not missed.

DW and I ditched the table (too Heavy, clunky and unstable) in favor of a fold down plastic table. In fact we purchased two of them to use outside. If we have no choice but to move inside, then the plastic table is much easier to move in and out of the trailer.

We no longer use the sleeping area created with the table. More pain than gain to use the Jayco Table IMO.
