If I read the posts correctly the failed frame component was welded. I believe our frames are riveted. A welded frame would be asking for trouble IMHO. Ford Model A frames were all riveted and were expected to flex on the road. A weld would have created a more rigid joint and would have torn itself apart trying to flex. Since Jayco seemed to step in an eventually perform some work I would assume the TT was purchased new so I'm curious about a welded frame. Maybe it was that way from the factory?? Anybody verify welds on the frame?
