Talk about a Horror Story....

I just saw this post on another forum, RV.net, and man it's scary!

Apparently the guy has a 2014 X23B and experienced some frame damage.

I know when weather allows, I'll be crawling under mine and inspcet the rivets and the frame......

Seems to be an isolated case, but is a good reminder to all of us to ocasionally inspect the undersides of our TT.

I do this a few days before we make a trip with it.

If I read the posts correctly the failed frame component was welded. I believe our frames are riveted. A welded frame would be asking for trouble IMHO. Ford Model A frames were all riveted and were expected to flex on the road. A weld would have created a more rigid joint and would have torn itself apart trying to flex. Since Jayco seemed to step in an eventually perform some work I would assume the TT was purchased new so I'm curious about a welded frame. Maybe it was that way from the factory?? Anybody verify welds on the frame?
