Tire Pressure

Hello all-
I have a 2013 x23b with the tires at 50 lb. Without getting to technical , do you increase your tire pressure on your TV? I tow with a 2003 Ford Expedition at the recommended 35 lb. tire pressure. Thank you!

Depends on the tires and the tv's towing handling experience. On my Dakota the OEM tires were great, at 35 psi. Bought new tires of a different brand with all the same specs, and the towing experience was not as good. It took a few iterations but I bumped the rears to 45 and the fronts to 40 psi. Now the TV handles nicely again.

Wow! Deja vue, all over again.
That's the exact combination we towed with.
I kept all tires at the recommended pressures (50 and 35). We towed it for 2 years and covered a touch over 8k miles, no tire troubles.
That said, 3-5 years is the general rule of thumb tire life and keep your speed under 65.
I bought a TPMS when we owned the 23B and never had a tire prob. We bought the 5th and had 2 tire failures in a 75 mile stretch, the TPMS came with me and earned its keep that day. I'll not travel without one.
Enjoy your 23B, we loved ours but had something larger in mind from the start. Still talk about it tho.

I recommend inflating TT and TV tires to the maximum shown on the tire sidewall as a start. Then try lowering the fronts a few psi. Usually you'll find the best handling with the front tires 5 to 10 psi lower than the maximum.

Highly recommend getting a TPMS.

The htt pressure must be kept at max pressure. Or you'll have sway issue. I did not check once and it was white knuckle driving.
