Tongue weight x19h

Does anyone have any real world tongue weights for the x19h? I will be picking up my new camper soon and need to buy an appropriate WDH.

It doesn't matter what others have, your's will be different.

DTW is 400# on the 2016.
GVW is 4950#, taking 15% of that, your max TW is 742.5#

Talk to the mfg/dealer of your WDH

My x23B also has a GVW of 4950#, I was looking at the Blue Ox hitches and talked to the mfg for advice between the 550# and 750# bars.

They recommended the 550# bars for me; assuming a TW of about 600#.

It's because when it's all hooked up they aren't distributing 100% of the weight, just a portion of it.

When I was deciding which WDH, I found lots of good threads. I've been happy with it, certainly notice an improvement over not having a WDH.

Note that their recommendation was based upon my HTT + TV combination.

Honda recommends not using a WDH.

Part of the recommendation might have been related to that. My feeling is that the SwayPro design provides for more flex (less stress) when going over bumps/driveways than for instance the seemingly more rigid WDH such as an Equal-i-zer.
