Trimming Caulk and Counter Flaw

Does anyone know if it's okay to trim caulk around bath sink?? I noticed that it's thicker on one side and not so think on another side and all trimmed back on another part. How and what tool to use?? Don't want to ruin anything or have water issues down the road. The kitchen sink has no caulk showing around it, seems it was done well.

Another issue is we noticed a slight tear up of counter left of stove edge, appears it was sealed back down, not very noticeable but there is raised edge on it, it may last just fine. Wondering if we should have dealer replace it under warranty?? If they would, worried that it could ruin other stuff like seal on back wall, they would have to replace entire counter and take sink out and stove and seals and redo it. Thinking of leaving it be, don't know??

I'm with jepotts on this one. If the seam is properly sealed, it's better left alone.

The counter top is certainly your call - not the dealers. You paid for it with an expectation of no flaws.
