Truck tires

What load rating for an Expedition pulling a Jayco F23B should I get? What are the best tires? Thank you!

Based on California Highway Patrol UNOFFICIAL recommendations, I would never tow with anything less than Load Range E tires if at all possible. And a high temp rating as well. Those rear tires take tremendous abuse while towing, and they can usually be stabilized with high pressure while under those conditions. Lower load ranges usually have lower max pressures that just don't stabilize the tire.

What dustdevil said.

In addition to load carrying, the less flex in the sidewalls the less likely sway will an issue.

I've been researching LT tires myself for my F-150. These are probably what I'm going with. Great reviews on multiple websites and they are E rated

8 and 10 ply hi temp, E-rated tires ride rougher when you're not towing, but it's really worth the effort and slight loss of comfort to be sure they can handle the towing loads when you are in that mode. Blowouts are very dangerous, and you really don't want to risk them.
