Tv mount x17z

I did the swivel mount install on my x17z but can't come up with a way to hold the tv from swinging out when traveling. I tried command hook but it broke off the wall. Any better ideas?

I always disconnect and move my TV to the floor but mine is free floating on top of the fridge. Ive found for me its easier I just scootch it around as needed, didn't feel comfortable mounting it into what seemed like 1/4" plywood. Admittedly I rarely ever use it, mostly a music man. Love the bluetooth outdoor speakers, we have the same camper!

They make a specific swivel TV mount for RVs, where the TV locks into place for transport.

How about some screw in hooks and a bungee cord to hold it against the wall during travel?

We put ours under the table during travel and just put it on top of the fridge when setting up. Didn't bother to mount it

If the swivel is a plate type (two round plates with a pivot in the middle), try drilling a small hole through both plates in the closed position and dropping a pin (small nail or screw) down through the hole to hold it in place. This assumes that the mechanism for yours is accessible in the travel position, not sure what it looks like.

I came up with a bungee on the wall. I slip it over and it holds it securely in place when traveling.

I have the same thing. I use the plastic adjustable double bars made for the fridge to stop that stuff moving around in travel and put it tight against the tv from top of cabinet to the ceiling. Works perfect.
