Vent Cover

What type of vent cover should I put on top of my camper? Also what about the installation of the cover? Any suggestions?

I'd get whatever you personally like or feel is good value, etc.

I have a couple of Maxxair vents. They come in different colors if you want to change the amount of light entering the camper. I chose black. Most campers have good outside light comming in. Our campers like to sleep in so blocking out the morning light works for us.

I watched a couple online videos on the install. It's a slam dunk DoItYourself job.

Have fun

I just purchase 3 Maxxair II vents. 2 are smoke and 1 is black. I had a Maxxair vent (1st generation) cover on my last RV and it worked great. As soon as I get my 5er back from dealership, I'll be putting the new covers on. As said above, this is a very easy mod...check youtube for a how to video.

Maxxair II vent cover works great. Easy to install (~15 minutes on the roof). We leave the vent open all the time, no problems.
