Both of my trailer here at my house have a small tag on the trailer tongue on the drivers side just where the tongue meets the front of the trailer. Also one trailer has the VIN# stamped into the the trailer frame just above where the tongue is welded in place.
The new trailers usually have an inventory sheet on the inside door of one of the cabinets. ALso both my trailers came with a packet full of information of what was installed in the trailer. A couple of those documents had the VIN number on it...
I also have the VIN number on the Trailer Title Registration when I purchased the trailer... If your trailer has a state tag on it there must be a VIN # associated with that... CALL DMV with the tag number...
