Wasted space in our 16XRB

While on our maiden trip the last few days, I noticed some valuable wasted space in this design. The full front width of the box, is inaccessible anywhere except the curb side exterior storage compartment. I can reach it, but, if anything were to go forward and slide across, it would take some creative driving to get it back out We ended up stuffing our patio mat way up there to pretty well seal it off. I studied it for a few minutes, and have to wonder, why isn't there an access door there? There is plumbing, and wiring running through, but, a small door, and piece of secured PVC pipe, would make a great storage spot for fishing poles, or, anything long like that. I think Jayco missed an opportunity on that one. Maybe, when the warranty expires, I might look at making that mod.

Our 23B had some simular issues, maybe nOT so bad. I pulled our dinette all apart and made better access. Which turned it into full through access.
