Water under table

Noticed a bit of water on the floor under the table. Took the cover off that's over the fresh water tank and found a clear roughly half inch hose that was not connected to anything that had water in it and after a diligent search couldn't find anyplace it should be attached. All my faucets work as it is. Any idea what that hose is for. X19H and I have a pressure reducer on the water hookup.

Is it connected to a valve near your pump? If so its to draw non tox antifreeze to winterize.

It is near a valve. Is this a serious issue. At Indian Springs in Georgia now and don't want to go home.

Is this a new unit? Did someone winterize it? Do you have dogs/kids or ?? that could have 'spilled' some water?

If everything seems to be working as it should, and the water puddle under the table doesn't return, then, IMO, it's a mystery. I wouldn't let it stop my trip.

As Gman1372 suspects, the most likely reason for a short, clear hose is to suck RV antifreeze into the water system.

It is new. Third trip and it hasn't been winterized. Just me and my lady. The hose is about 24 inches. Trying to attach some photos. But doesn't look like it's going to work. On my mobile.

I'll echo this on our 16XRB- I found and tied up the hose, open end up so it wasn't laying loose. It wasn't a leak, but the hose had a bit of water in it that spilled under the table.

There is a possibility that the valve to the hose isn't completely closed.

Where are ya moose, you swimming?

Indian Springs in Georgia. Brutally dry here. Almost 60 days without rain. So not swimming. Not in the camper either, lol. Luckily only about half
A cup spilled.

Yup, that's for sucking antifreeze into the system when you winterize. Just used mine last week. Open valve, stick clear hose into gallon of antifreeze, turn on water pump and now it draws from the jug of antifreeze instead of tanks or freshwater hookup.
Makes Winteizing ridiculously easy

Would same hose work for sanitizing the system? Mine is on the water pump itself. X23B

Problem with using that for sanitizing is none of the bleach water would go into the fresh water belly tank. That's the reason for filling the belly tank with bleach water, letting it sit for 24 hrs, and even taking a drive if possible to slosh it around. The belly tank never gets completely dry so it needs sanitized to kill mold/mildew

Thanks for everyone's help. The valve at the T that tube connected to was about in the halfway open/closed position. Not in any way knowledgeable about that kind of stuff and a little nervous about messing stuff up but tried it in both positions and it seems to be ok
Now. Called camping world
In Byron ga and talked to a tech. He didn't know what I was talking about and I believe he should have been familiar with it. Based on the responses to my post it seems like a fairly common thing. Have not been impressed at all with my service at camping world. In fact I would call it unorganized and bordering on incompetent. Anyway, thanks again for everybody's help. Love Indian Springs campground in flovilla ga.
