WD thoughts for with 2013 Ford Explorer
I recently got my x17z. Tried to tow it with my 2007 Santa Fe which has been a fantastic vehicle, but is pretty much pulling a wheelie when attached to the TT. WD is not recommended by Hyundai, so I've traded it in for a new Ford Explorer (5000 lbs capacity with WD) and apparently built in sway control.
Now I'm looking for recommendations for WD on this vehicle, what kind of shank etc. particularly for owners of the x17z.
Has anyone actually got the Anderson No-Sway WD ?
Lastly, if you happen to be in Canada, any recommendations on where to get the WD from. The prices here seem to be stupidly excessive and I may end up going to the US to get it, but if possible I'll get it within Canada.

You might try an E-2 WDH system from eTrailer.com
You can put make, model, year of TV and they will show you what fits.
Also, they are very helpful on the phone if you have additional questions.
Free shipping too.
FYI,
Doug

Equal-i-zer is a popular choice, the 600/6000 model works great with my 17Z.

I have an equalizer and it is terrific. I feel very safe towing with it.

I have a 2011 Explorer towing a Jayfeathear 228. I am using a plain round bar WDH. Last summer we took a trip to southern Alberta which was a little windy so I added a friction bar style sway control arm. The WDH is made by a local company, DSP hitches. I used a local company who sells trailer hitches. Ryan

I did some extensive research on the Andersen hitch and the best price I found (including shipping) was from hitchesonline.com. I picked one up for my 2011 Grand Cherokee and 18F EXP; have yet to test it out though.

Equalizer. Try campkins north of Whitby for pricing.

IMHO HF is a great source for "disposable" tools, I consider anything I buy there to be single-use. If I want to buy quality I will buy elsewhere.

I got a good price last spring on our Eqal-i-zer from our local Go Glass dealer. Have been very satisfied with that WD for both weight distribution and anti sway.

I've made several purchases from etrailer. They are great to deal with and no brokerage fees with shipping.
