Weather stripping sorta maybe :)

On a Jayco Jayfeather 19h exp, the plastic/rubber seal around the outside of the bunkends is dry rotted and discolored. All i can seem to find is info on roof seals. does anyone know if this is just regular residential weather stripping? Also when resealing with dap (right) do I dig out the old stuff or just seal over it? Thanks!

you always want to get the old stuff out as for the weather stripping a good weather stripping that looks like what you have now will work you can even check auto parts store for weather stripping it keeps water out of your car so it should work just make sure to get something like the weather stripping you have now
