Many times you find out what you need just shortly AFTER you need it, then you remember to pack it the next time and likely never need it again

journal
When we got our new camper, I picked up a small notebook to be kept in trailer. I write down the name of the campground and any other detail of each day (outings, hikes etc( the date and I keep a running total of # of nights spent in our camper. It's a great way to look back and remember trip.

I started keeping a journal of each trip this year. I think it will settle a lot of arguments in the future as to where we stayed, etc. etc.

Make sure the dealer is supplying a battery at all!

Drop ins for the toilet and grey tank, small step ladder,.........I keep a small notebook in the camper and everytime we camp and I think of something I dont have but could use, I write it down and take the piece of paper home & get what I need for next trip......we also have something called a King Flush, it hooks to the sewer outlet on the camper and lets you close a valve and put fresh water into the black (and grey) tank to flush out anything that remains after you've emptied, its surprising how much "stuff" is still in there and gets cleaned out by the King Flush......happy camping!:hihi:

Based on past experiences and having now used out new X17Z trailer, my "short list" of must have's (other than the standard electrical/plumbing items) is:
BAL Leveler
Power front jack
3/4" socket for my battery powered drill
These things make setup/teardown so much easier!
Next purchases:
Popup Gizmos
Entrance step stabilizer

I have looked at those. We are going to try without and see if we need them.
