What is your average set up and tear down times

hmmmm I like the hanging piece! If I buy one more thing to hang, I think I might be the one my husband is hanging! Love it though

Wife inide and me outside: up to 60 mins to set up and 90 to take down (depending on how much she cleans the inside while I wait!) We try not to rush either since this is part of the camping experience and we love the entire experience.

Normally about an hour. But, once this summer, we got tested - sitting eating dinner and a Tornado alert came on my cell phone for the area where we were camping. We were about an hour and a half from home (opposite direction of the approaching weather), so we decided to roll out and get to the safety of home. We were hooked up and headed out in 25 minutes! I've seen what tornadoes can do to an RV, so didn't want to risk it... Glad we left cause they got nailed with some pretty heavy weather!

I think about an hour also. Not in a big rush. Leveling the unit side to side, and then unhooking and leveling front to back. Then slides out and everything in place inside for wife to finish up inside. Then I put out rug, chairs, satellite dish, and awning usually about last. Then time for a cold one!

About an hour to set up. Then of course comes all the little doo dads the DW makes me do. Like lights on the awning, setting up a canopy, maneuvering the table to a good spot, etc etc. Tearing down usually takes a bit longer. Just because we clean everything thoroughly before packing it away. The wife says the TT must be ready for the next trip and cleaned top to bottom!

15-20 minutes from pulling in until the trailer is level and fridge is running.


Everything after that? Time is irrelevant. Getting water includes re-bonding with neighbors....


Takedown starts the evening before and we're usually off the campsite by noon...


Less than 10 minutes from fridge shutdown to pulling out.

It takes us about 30 minutes also. A little less in state parks when I don't have to worry about hooking up water and sewer lines. We also split up the chores, me outside and the DW inside. But no rush, we're on vacation.

The first time, it was over an hour. Now that we've done it, much less. As others have stated, we don't time it, nor are in any hurry.
