We have a 22in LCD/Disc combo that fits nicely on the shelf.

We have a 24" Visio in ours that fits perfectly,you may be able to get a 27 in there. I recently installed a mount on the short wall on the side of the microwave that works awesomely. I have some pics of the mod that I need to upload. Mount was 19.99 on Amazon, took about 37 mins to install. Love it. We pull the tv while in transit and place it on the dinette seats with the bed pillows around it.
