I'm adding this here as I used this thread for research. They increased gvwr in 2018 models.
Just purchased a 2018 x17z and gvwr is 3950 with ccc over 700lbs. Sales guy had no clue so hope this helps others..

We don’t go crazy in putting things in, but I don’t worry about it either.
I just got my trailer back from having the axle replaced and was curious on how close your axle is to your grey water tank?

Hello all. I started this last year on my own and should have checked here first. So i had a #11 Torflex on order with Dexter axle rated at 4500# the #11 can go from 4000-6200" depending on how they build it. I picked 4500# with the help of my trailer shop. We are adding a 2" receiver and a proper 4" square tube bumper to the rear for bikes, generator, etc. I am also moving the spare tire to the rear bumper.

I was just informed that they can't build the #11 with the Jayco "Norco" brackets that are required for the X17Z. If you have been under the trailer you will notice that the frame is cut out for the torflex and the bracket is an integral part of the frame at the point. Now a #10 has 5 lug wheels and the #11 has 6 lug wheels as shown is post #35.

So, Greg02280 can you get the part number you ordered your axle under?

Or, can you provide the name and number of who you worked with at Faria Trailers?

Peace,

Greg
