X23b 13,500 ir 15,000

I won't bore you with my long story.
My question is do I buy the x23b now with a13,500 AC or wait a couple months and get the 15,000 AC.
Hottest camping would be the outer banks, maybe 90-95.
Need to decide by tomorrow.
Thanks

We ordered our TT with the 15k because we live in the heat and did not want to chance the 13.5 not being able to keep up (even though most of our RV'ing is up north in Oregon and Washington). We've been in hot weather and really hot weather well over 100f, and the 15k keeps ours comfortable. If it were me and we had the same trailer with canvas bunk ends, I would definitely get the bigger A/C unit. I know it's hard to order and wait weeks and weeks, but I bet you'll be glad in the long run. Stay cool!

If you're plugged into shore power the 15k AC is a great idea. If you are on a generator you will need a generator capable of running (more importantly starting) the bigger unit.

If you want to upgrade in the future, don't. Save your money and get the option now.

That's a tough call. All I can add is on our 264bh we have the 15k and it's way more than we need. I have never turned to the hi cool setting (have only needed the low cool setting) and on the temperature knob it has never been turned more than half way to cold. We have camped as far south as South Carolina in the middle of summer. I don't have any hybrid experience so don't know how much loss you may get from the canvas ends. I'd rather have the big ac and not need it, than need it and not have it. But I've never needed near it's full potential so maybe you'd be ok in the x23b if you really don't want to wait... I don't know if that helps you lol...

We have the 13.5K in our 23B, hottest we've been out in is 105, with extreme humidity. No issues cooling down the rig when we pulled in.

Just note on a htt, the bunk ends will be a bit warmer then the rest of the htt, that is due to air flow, we have bunk end fans and that makes a huge difference.

DW says it can get to cold.

If you get a good deal on the X23b with 13,5 K go for it. Between the 13.5 K and 15 K is little difference in performance but the 15 K draws more amps.
