X23B Door

Has anyone else had trouble with their front door( I guess only door) closing? We have to literally slam it shout from the inside. Has anyone ever greased the hinge? Thanks!

We have a X23F and our kids could not open the door at first, it was too hard for them and it was a little difficult to close as well. So I tried to adjust it by moving the plate on the door frame and it was a little better, but when it was in for a list of warranty repairs I had the dealer look at it. Our dealer fix it and a whole list of thing we found the first year we owned the camper, the door lock now is way better then I could get it. The kids can now easily open it and close it (when they remember to) but it all fell under the warranty as there was no chage to us and it made a big difference.

We had that problem occasionally, and tracked it to the stability jacks being uneven. We bought an inexpensive Black and Decker drill with a clutch. After a little trail and error we found a setting that works. Now, when the jacks settle we hit them with the drill and they all have the same tension. Haven't had a door problem since.

We have had a few different issues with our door. Ours was hard to close, and would even pop open when we weren't anywhere near it because it hadn't latched when we closed it. I sprayed the lock and latching mechanism with some wd40 and adjusted the door plate on the frame. We haven't had an issue since.

Not unique to the X23B. We had this issue with our first hybrid, '03 Kiwi 17a, and our X20E. In both cases the door plate needed some adjustment. Once that was done never had a problem again with either door.
