For those of you that have had their recalled lights replaced already.

I was wondering if Jayco has been replacing the bulbs or the whole light fixtures? I saw on the Jayco RV Club Facebook page that a person had their whole light fixtures replaced with the recall.

They said the button's in the center of the lights are even higher quality than the originals.

I just got my recall on Friday. I've got some big trips coming up. My local dealer is booked pretty solid he say's. i'm still going to go camping. Just keep an eye on the lights and don't leave them on very long at a time.

pretty sure its the while fixture. leds dont look like a seperate piece

We had to postpone delivery of our 265RLSW as the recall came out the morning of 5/5, the day we were supposed to take her home. Parts were available on the 9th and they had it done on the 10th. Hartville RV in Hartville, Ohio- Great dealer!!

Anyway, I believe they stated they changed all fixtures.

We received our recall letter yesterday. We have a couple of trips coming up in the next few weeks so I'm going to try and find time to squeeze in the warranty work. The letter we received said the resolution hasn't been determined yet and additional correspondence will come out once the fix is identified. That being said, will CW make you wait until the "fix" is identified or will they address it as normal warranty work (without official recall notice)

light recall???

can anyone tell me about this recall, and for what years/ models?? I have a 2014 Jayflight 22FB, my dome light blew both bulbs and the end of last year when I was winterizing and putting it away for the winter, now I just dewinterized and ready to get everything ready.?? just wondering if this recall covers my camper?

What's interesting is my dealer said mine is not included in the recall but I got a letter the same day I asked them. Will be calling Jayco tomorrow! Where do you find the manufacture date?

It's in the upper right hand corner on a plate next to your tire specifications.
Should be on the street side of the TT.
Just checked mine. It was like 03/2017

They were replacing ours while we finished our walk through last week. They replaced the entire fixture, not just the bulbs. Though they did forget one in the storage compartment.

As of this date we have not received a letter from Jayco in reference to the light recall on our 2017 White Hawk 27DSRL. Finally called them and gave them the manufacture date and VIN. They said we were not on the recall list! Woo Hoo!

wife told me that on the jayco page on face book that someone said that Jayco was offering to send the owner the lights for them to replace themselves. That would be just fine for me but have any of you heard that?

Not likely. It's a recall. Jayco would be foolish to warranty work not done by a certified dealer.

No luck. I called the dealer where I bought mine and they said that Jayco said that a Jayco dealer needs to do it. Called my local dealer and they will not do it because "I didn't buy from them". Then I called a statecraft dealer 5 minutes from my house and Jayco told them that they can't do it because there is a local Jayco dealer in the area. Meanwhile Jayco approved warranty work to be done by the statecraft dealer because the local dealer would not service the camper for reason posted above. So the dealer where we bought it, 3 hours away, is more than happy to do it for me and has been more than helpful. Fortunately, in July we will be camping about an hour away from them. So Jayco will not send parts as I have tried multiple times.
