Some Sure Power model 1314 and 1315 battery separators are being recalled due to a fire hazard.
For those not familiar with a battery separator, it is a device that separates your RV and tow vehicle electrical system when the tow vehicle is not running; this eliminates the possibility that the RV system can drain your tow vehicle battery when your engine is off, but the cord connecting your RV and tow are still connected.
