Sway command recall

We still are using the Sway Command.. Nothing from Jayco.. The dealer has worked on the unit with it installed. Because we probably will run the rig to the ground we are not even thinking about it.. We plan on keeping the truck another ten years unless it conks out.

I waited to get a 17 with Sway Command and then they took it off before I ever got a chance to use it. Effectively I paid over $500 to get something they recalled



The recall was due to some trucks with built in sway control fighting the Sway Command if I understand it. I tow with Jeep and am not interested in owning a truck.


So if anyone has anything I bet there are a lot of us wanting more info on the final decision.

My understanding is the same.. And my truck has no built in sway control.. That they took your $500 and gave you nothing seems to invite a small court lawsuit at least.. It may be worth mentioning to someone as a heads up I may do this.

A class action seems to me hard to organize..
