Swift Side mount AC recall -- leaking

Some ASC drip pans need to be reinstalled and resealed.

Jayco will need to run the VIN to see if your unit qualifies for the repair. Call 800-283-8267, option 1, option2. If your unit is on the list, you will get a new drip pan and install, new seal under warranty.

Most dealers don't seem to know about this one!!!

Recall Number# tsb11-005

I called and the woman I spoke to kept repeating "its not a recall, its not a recall" i wanted to smack her. Lol she kept calling it something else, I finally just said to her "ok you have an adversion to calling it a recall, I get it"

Our Swift was not on the list...good luck to everyone whos TT is on the list, report back with your experience, I hope it all works out!

Side Mount AC? As in if the AC unit is in the center of your roof you should be ok?

Yes this recall would not affect you. Its only for units located on the side of the trailer.

Was just reading this one. went to check and was only able to go to two for now. They were a little loose so i snugged them up a little. Will take the cover off the back half and check the other two before next trip in 2 weeks. While im thinking about it i was just thinking of starting a new thread on AC filters. Any suggestions besides cleaning the OEM one? Good idea or bad on starting a new thread about it?

I`ve only cleaned and used the OEM one. You can certainly start a new thread about filters, in the tech talk or General Jayco RV chat categories would be a good place for it.
