Unhappy 2012 Hot Water Heater Problems

Hello everyone, I have a 2012 Jayco 31.5RLTS fifth wheel. On our first camping trip everything seemed OK, but the DSI fault light was on in the monitor panel one morning. I checked hot water heater when I got there and it worked fine on electric, and it appears to light off, and work fine on gas. It will run fine on gas all day long but when we wake up in the morning the DSI fault light is on. It appears the heater is working about 18 hours before problems occur. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks again, sorry for the long post.

If it is still under warranty I would let the dealer handle the problem.

Our trailer did that and the dealer found that the switch with the red light in it was faulty. Our water heater was fine. As mentioned, it is under warranty so take it to your dealer.

I had a similar problem with mine. Is it a Suburban?
My problem was it suddenly quit after running on propane for weeks. It would work fine on electric.
It had propane to the valve on the heater, it had 12v to the valve on the heater and the valve was clicking when it was trying to start. The problem was a defective valve. It just stopped working one night.
I'm still under warranty and my dealer got me a replacement valve and I did it myself since it is easier than towing to the dealer. This replacement took about 10 minutes.
