Hi...just wondering if anybody has come up with a solution for the spaghetti mess I have dealt with twice..the "box" in behind my shower and under rear bunks on my x17z isnt really big enough for 25' of heavy cable..I have had to remove the exterior door to get inside just unravel the mess...has anybody converted to a "marine" type connection? ultimatley a recoil/reel would be kittycat like a vaccum cleaner..:hihi:

That was one of the first things I did to my TT.. it is easy if you can follow colors ... just get a diagram from Jayco as to where the studs are before you drill a new hole...

How old is your trailer? I had issues for the first few trips. Now the cord slides in and out with no issues. But the hot summer days may have something to do with that too.

Spray your a rag with silicone spray, and wipe the cord down with the silicone rag as you push the cord back into the "mouse hole". I do this a couple of times a year and don't have trouble getting the cord in or out anymore.

Spend $75 and buy a shore power inlet and cord cap from Jamestown Supply. I did after my 2nd trip with the 23B and it's tangled up mess of a cord. Now my cord is stowed neatly in a perfect coil, ready for deployment.
