Question Ankle breaker

We just purchased a 2005 Greyhawk 24DS. There is a hook in the floor for the slide out.
Before my wife breaks her ankle, is there some sort of cover plate for this thing?

What is it called and where/ how do I get one?

I have the hook in the floor, I am looking for a cover plate or pad to fill it in. It is recesses into the floor an inch and a half or so.

Or any other option to keep from stepping into the indentation.

Any ideas?

It probably came with a wood plug that had a piece of matching carpet attached. That is what they did with the table leg holes in front of the couch on our 2001 3230 DESINGER.

That is what I was hoping existed. Now I just have to find out what they are called so I can track one down.

Thank you!

You will probably have to make your own or have one made. It was probably something that Jayco made for that particular unit.

Thanks Grumpy, thats what I was afraid of. I can make some thing work but I was hoping for something "engineered" for the application.

Thanks and safe travels
