Bathroom vent Fan

Well the cheap bathroom vent arm mechanism is destroyed in my 2016 27BHS. I guess I tightened it too hard and the handle just spins to close it. It now flops in the wind and will bot stay shut. I had to take some twine to secure it. Any clue if I can get something at the hardware store? Don't want to take a trip to dealer.

Go online and buy a fantastic fan and maxair cover and forget the oem STINK fan. Fits in the same hole and easy to swap out the old and install the new. You will love it.

IN the meantime figure out a way to wire the lid to keep it down.

There is a screw in the crank handle see if tightening that wont help for the short term.

I've saved a crank gear with a small adjustable hose clamp, have to get at it to try to force the hose clamp aaround the gear housing for the hope the gear housing binds well enough to stay put. If you are upgrading the fan at least it stops the lid issue.
