Battery Not Charging
HI, I have a 2015 Jayco Whitehawk 27DSRL and a few months ago I installed a Progressive Industries 30 Amp Permanent Electrical Management System with Remote Display. A month later our pedestal blew and we lost power. It turned out to be an issue on the 30 AMP Outlet. Our RV Park host provided an adapter to use the 50 AMP outlet and we were back in business. Luckily we had no damage done to our appliances. It seems like after that, our battery is not charging when plugged into shore power. I checked the 30 amp fuses for the reverse polarity because this is what it said in the manual: "If the 12-volt power converter is not working (auxiliary battery not being charged)
check the reverse polarity fuse(s) in the converter fuse panel. There are no
customer serviceable parts inside the converter case and the
manufacturer’s warranty will be void if the case has been removed. If you
have further concerns contact your dealer"
I also noticed there was a green LED next to the fuses in the fuse box and it is not on. Does that mean the system is not working?
Inquiring mind wants to know. TIA! Ed
