Black flush blocked

So, yes my black tank flush does not work.

No, it is not the backflow preventer as I have already bypassed it.

What can get stopped up in there? No water is flowing at all and I don't have any leaks. Happened after a day full of rough roads.

Is the system mounted to the side of the tank? I may have to drop the undercover and look for it.

PS no, I've never hooked up a hose without the screen over the inlet.

Little bits of solid matter probably got into the spray head and plugged it.. I had that happen on my previous trailer.

X3 here. Mine was mush toilet paper that made it into the spray head then solidified into a plug.

So, the solution is to get in there and see what it is.

Is the unit mounted on the side of the tank near the dump valve? I need to get to the dump valve anyway cause it has a really slow seepage too.

I would say the solution is to fill your black tank to 3/4 with water and put some black tank chemical down there and let it sit. The chemicals help break up and dissolve "stuff". Let that sit, then drive around to your next campground to slosh it around and help break things up.

That should help with anything that's stuck to the sprayer.

In my case, I had to pull the sprayer and clean it out. The TP was hardened to a mdf consistentsy. I'd try the chemical such as RV Digesti It first though.

I kinda figure that's in my future as well. Once paper is solidified not much will do anything to it.

That's one of the reason no TP goes down the toilet. I use as alternative sentenced doggy bags and dispose of it every couple a days with the garbage. No smell and no plugs in the black tank. I had only once a plugged black-tank and that was 40 years ago and never since.

I just purchased a 2018 Alante 31 ft. My wife followed me in the car to our first trip and told me the coach "crabs " like a vehicle that has been in an accident. The coach is a little harder to keep in a lane than the one I test drove. Does the frame need a 4 wheel alignment? Any help appreciated.

We use rv paper and never had it plug up. If camping means manually handling my excrement, then I'm going to start hoteling it instead. Two things I don't do on vacation, shave and.....

14 years and 8 rigs. Only plugged black flush once. I use my own recipes in the tank now and never a problem.

Congratulations on your Alante and welcome to the forum.

Call your dealer and have them arrange for a wheel alignment at Jayco's expense. Several members on this site have had an alignment on their new MH.
