Electric Awing

If you hear any noise it should be coming from the top left front corner of the awing. That is where the motor and gear box is located. Remove the end cap and see if one of the three gears is broken. Is the awing not opening or what? Need more information. I have had to replace the motor on mine so I have some experience with the Carefree Awing on my 2009 Jayco. If you have further questions PM me with specifics.

I'm lookingto see LED lights under it; there is power cord but not live since only goes live when I hit the awning switch.......have to find power and hate drilling through trailer wall.....
Any ideas ?
I guess I could steal power from amber light, but both would be on at same time....

Is it correct that this motor is the same as a car window motor but I don't know the brand or year(s).
