It could be bad batteries - but two in a roll ????

About the only thing that blows those fuses is reversed polarity or a shorted cell in the battery.

I keep asking if you are absolutely sure you have the battery hooked up correctly. I asked for yoou to physically find the word NEG or the symbol - on the battery case and you have physically hand traced this connected cable to frame ground...

Can you answer this for me haha,,,

Yes Roy I did that. I followed the ground cable to the frame and I looked at the battery box. I may be a bit of a noobie with trailers and electrical but I'm not that bad.

I thought we had figured out earlier that the 40AMP FUSe was for your slide motor and the 30AMP was for your REVERSE POLARITY. The diagram I found for your converter/charger showed two fuse holders on the bottom of the stack. You only keep talking about one. perhaps someone has removed the very last fuse and all is there is the fuse holder socket...

The two REVERSE POLARITY fuses should be more rating together than your converter/charger puts out.

Hmmm I also thought I gave up on this discussion a few days ago... Here I am at again haha

I may have this discussion mixed up with another trailer - the two 40AMP and 30AMP fuses sounds familiar for some reason...

Sometimes a new guy looking at things will work - go get another trailer guy to come take a look...

Well went out this weekend and I think it is all worked it self out...

Original problem discovered was from a bad battery and the 2nd battery I tested that boiled I found out was only a 6v battery. My friend had got it with his used trailer and didn't realize it was 6v.

The new battery I bought last week was fine all weekend and I regularly checked it with a multimeter and everything stayed in check as it should.
