Couple of Aluminum Siding Questions

1 - Above the curb-side bedroom window under where the awning arm rests when stowed(manual awning) the siding is bulging out slightly. You can easily push it flat but it pops back out again. I don't know if the factory forgot a screw or if something came undone. There is no water damage though. What do you think the simplest fix would be that won't require siding removal?

2 - I noticed on our last trip that the siding is slightly crinkled around the bottom corners of the slide-in, almost like it gets pulled in too tight. Has anyone else seen this happen? When I get a chance later I will try to get a picture of it.

It shouldn't look like that. I would look into warranty for that if you still have it

Our previous TT had an issue with the siding bulging out. Our dealer ended up putting screws in that the maufacturer forgot. Worked like a charm. As far as the slideout, it should not be buckling like that. Maybe something hit that area?

We have had several panels replaced due to dents caused by others.

If the TT is really a 2006, your 2 year warranty has expired. LOL.
But if it's a 2016, have a close up discussion with your dealer and Jayco should fix the issues. Good luck and let us know how it turns out for you.

It's a 2006, so warranty was expired 2 owners ago. I'm hoping for the bulging sliding I can just put a stainless screw through the sliding and into the frame as the aluminum sided Jaycos have wooden framed sidewalls. As for the damage by the slide I'm not sure what caused that, but it appears to only be cosmetic.
