I did check with a legal advisor . Litigation is very costly . Who has more money , a private citizen or a large company with its own legal staff ? It's too bad that a large company like jayco can't produce a quality coach . It will cost less to get another coach than a protracted legal battle . They will keep throwing legal holdups till you run out of money .

If the law is on your side, pursue the suit!
My (now ex-)wife's car was damaged because of the negligence of her employer's landlord. He didn't want to give up any insurance information. We took him to court and collected 100% of the damages to the car plus court costs!
If you take on a Big Business with a righteous case, your lawyer will wait for his or her money when the business finally offers a decent settlement.

Not the case . In SD no lemmon law for r v . In order to pursue would have to use Magnuson moss warranty act . Advisor needed 5000.00 retainer and rate of 200.00 hr. At that rate jayco has much more money than I do .

In NY if the lawyer thinks you've got a good case, they take it on a contingency basis. If you win, your lawyer gets 1/3 of the judgment or settlement. Loose, you and your lawyer get nothing.

Why cant you speak of legal issues with Jayco? Is this site run by Jayco or something? That sounds very restrictive for a forum, no? So if 100's of people start lawsuits we will never hear of them here? Isn't that very one side in Jaycos favor. I thought this site was unbiased but I guess I am wrong. Shame...

Before we try to tar and feather anyone it might be prudent to let the original poster get some answers from Jayco.

This Site is not affiliated with Jayco but we do have some limits about posting vendor disputes mostly because we are not in a place to adjudicate them.
From the rules:
Quote:
Dealer/Vendor and Customer Disputes
This forum is not intended to be a mechanism for people to vent frustrations about vendors, products or sales from private parties. Please settle your differences with the seller, manufacturer and dealer through the long-established legal or arbitration systems or the Better Business Bureau but not through our community. You may post about problems you have with Jayco product in an effort to learn from others with similar issues however the use of the forums to repeatedly attack or bash Jayco, Jayco products, or Jayco owners is strictly forbidden.

It's really horrible when someone has a bad experience and it's ok to ask for a little advice about how to proceed, but we limit these sorts of topics because sometimes folks may use the forum to try to leverage a better outcome or one of the involved parties may post info that becomes a barrier to a good resolution between the parties.
Here's a link to the full set of rules - thanks for understanding.
