Door Latch

Is there a way you can adjust door latch tension or otherwise reduce strength needed to open the door? My kids can't open door on their own.

Good point. Northpoint 377. It has the keypad lock and door latch assembly together.

Mine was the same way and I just adjusted the striker plate on the door frame. Move it outward a tad and the door will require less effort to open and close

Graphite the latch, DW complained about ours.
