Down Under

Just curious about what the underside of a Jayco TT is supposed to look like. Ours is covered in some kind of dark grey/black plastic board, but it's all wonky. Not smooth. It goes up and down over tanks I assume. It covers everything, but someone has used duct tape to cover joins in the stuff. I'm wondering if we need to tear it out and put in new stuff. Should it be all smooth like a roof, but under? Hope this makes sense.

I would leave it alone unless there are places loose enough to scoop air. Duct tape will come off eventually.
Most I have seen are held in Ce with screws and a sticky tape between the material and frame.
It can be removed by removing the screws, #2 Robeson bit(square) and pulling the section you want to access down.

This sounds like something somebody added. The floor deck usually has a moisture barrier membrane on the underside of the deck sheet so that when it is installed the deck underside is protected from the road elements (water, snow, etc.). At least that's what's on mine.
