Eagle HT 27.5RLTS auto-leveling jack failure

We have a 2017 Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS 5th wheel, with the auto-leveling jacks.

The RV was in for some warranty work with cosmetic issues, and when my wife went to pick it up, the auto-leveling system wouldn't start up so she could lift it up and put it on the truck.

Thankfully it was at the dealership, so they ended up taking it back into the shop.

Skip forward 4 weeks, and they still don't know what's wrong. They've been in contact with Jayco (They are factory-authorized for service), as well as the leveler manufacture, and still don't seem to have a clue as to what's going on

Sorry I don't have more details, as I wasn't there when it happened and haven't seen it in person since :-(

Any suggestions? We're going to call Jayco tomorrow, but it just doesn't seem like it should be all that complicated to me. (two circuit boards, right? Just replace both of them if you have to...)

In my travels I've seen it happen twice and of course it was the day they were leaving .

Well - sad to say, but don't start with the assumption that the dealer is telling you the truth; even if they seem to be "nice guys" and you've had good experience with them in the past.
They may - or may not - have called anybody.
It may be they are just REALLY backed up and haven't had time to work on your unit - so they blame Jayco.
OR it may be that they discovered they shorted out the control boards or motors or something when they were working on your unit and they are trying to figure out how to get out of it without having to pay for new parts themselves.

Those systems are highly self diagnosing - for it to have some completely debilitating malfunction that nobody can figure out just doesn't sound like "truth" to me.

I'd call Jayco yourself and verify that they are "in the loop".

FYI, they've decided that one of the rear motor sensors has failed, and the motor control board.

The parts are on order, but they had the gall to ask if I wanted to pay them for express shipping for the warranty parts.

Still going to talk to Jayco, as the dealer has had our unit almost as much as we have.

FYI, to close the thread, we finally have our RV back, 2 months later.

One of the sensors, the wiring harness to it, and the motor controller were replaced. My guess is that they damaged the wiring which caused the problems when they were repairing a warranty issue with the underbelly cover that wasn't properly attached at the factory.

It's working perfectly now, FINALLY.
