Eek! A Mouse!!
While I am, in fact, NOT afraid of mice, I do not appreciate them invading my spaces. We live in the bush and have a trapline with a couple of cabins so deal with mice fairly often. Our 3 cats tend to keep the ones in the house under control, and we do take one cat with us to the trapline in hopes of keeping them out of the cabins, at least while we are there. Having just bought our TT and appreciating that the previous owners had cleaned it thoroughly (forgetting to empty the black tank though..ewww!), I did find an area they forgot. There are 2 sliding panels to access the underside of the bathtub. Upon opening these I discovered scads of scat. Mouse poop, in other words. I wanted to warn anyone who has to deal with this stuff about Hantivirus.

The above website tells you about it, but in short, it can be deadly and comes from inhaling the dust of infected mouse feces and urine. If you discover mouse poop in your RV, please be safe and spray it with a bleach/water mixture before wiping or vaccuming it up.

Please be careful.
