EZ Lube wheels hubs ?

I have a 2006 Jayco 26S with ez lube wheel hubs . I am new to these as I have not had a trailer with this set up and I am curious if you need to completely clean out the old grease and repack the bearings like normal?
I had one wheel off tonight and the hub and bearings were full of grease and looked to be in good shape . I got this trailer last fall from a dealer so its new to me .

I do them every 10,000 miles or 3 years. I keep an eye on the bearing play. Once a year I pump some new grease in and remove some of the old grease. Pump slow grease in while turning the hub. When you see some new grease it is done.
Be careful when you assemble not to damage the rear seal otherwise you'll have a grease brake disaster.

Definitely want to slowly pump the grease in. If possible, doing so when the bearings are still warm from a trip down the road will help prevent damage to the seal. The warm(er) grease will "move" easier through the bearing. All while turning the wheel as mentioned if at all possible.

Thanks ! I guess my best bet is to completely clean out the hubs and repack the bearings as I have no idea when they were done last . Then I can follow your procedure and mileage . I did my last trailer about the same mileage or every two years .
