Floor
Good day !!
We just recently (10 days ago) purchased a 2015 Jayco Eagle HT. We pointed out to the dealership a small tear in the linoleum and they advised they would submit a repair request to Jayco. This was documented on the purchase agreement. We have since been advised that Jayco no longer uses the same linoleum for the 2016 models and has none in stock to send to the dealership. We were then told that we should pick out some linoleum and the dealership would again submit a warranty repair request to Jayco to see if they would pay for total replacement of the linoleum flooring. This would require us to leave the RV at the dealership for 4-6 weeks. I am a little concerned about the linoleum replacement because when originally built, the linoleum floor covers the entire area and not just the exposed area. In other words, the furniture, etc. sits on top of the linoleum, and the linoleum just doesn't butt up against it.
My question is this.............
Would Jayco simply credit us, whether it be in optional equipment or cash refund and equal amount or similar amount to the cost of total linoleum floor replacement??????
Thanks for your input, especially if you have had a similar set of circumstances and what you did for a resolution.
Sarge....
