Fridge won't work with gas
Not sure where to start looking. It works well with AC. Stove and Hot Water heater work great with gas. Suggestions, I'm a rookie.

Did you check the gas burner tube for an obstruction, such as spiders or mud wasps?? There is a brush with a flex shaft to clean the tube out. How far away from the propane tank is the fridge? Sometimes it takes a few cycles for the gas to get to the unit before it'll fire up. if it's been sitting a while. If your stove is nearby, try lighting it to get the gas flowing closer to it. Maybe someone else will chime in with some more ideas that I forgot.

These new fridges are very picayune about their gas supply. If it takes more than 30 seconds to ignite they shut down and whine!
The manual suggests 3 cycles of trying to light the burner to purge ALL the air from the gas line.

In and earlier thread by another member I suggested to use some compressed air to blow out the burner line. In his case it worked, but it could also cause more of a problem if something large is blocking the line compressed air could force it further in the burner. In that case you would have to remove the burner assy. you could also remove the burner and using a small piece of stranded wire clean out the burner orifice.

I haven't looked at newer trailers but some older ones had a shut-off valve in the outside fridge compartment to the gas line.

My fridge never lites the first few tries unless I light the gas stove and bleed air from the lines, then it starts and runs just fine

Fridge must be fairly level for the propane side to work. Check side to side and front to back with a bubble level in the fridge itself.

Take a look at the distribution block on the Propane lines and make sure the line is not kinked. I know it sounds funny but I recently found this on my unit. It is pulled way to tight. I also have no gas at my grill out let (very low pressure) so both of these are on my first return list.

I was talking to a buddy of mine who has a new Jayco Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS. He had a similar problem with the fridge. Whenever the slide was in, the fridge wouldn't work on propane. He took it in for service and the tech found that the hose would kink when the slide retracted. They had to cut a section of hose out, extend it, and support it differently to avoid the problem.

Just to clarify this. Level has nothing to do with whether the propane will light or not. Level is required when operating the refrigerator from 120 VAC or propane while stationary. While traveling it is not an issue since the liquid system is constantly sloshing around and does not get a chance to pool.
Also there is a SMALL knurled knob on the control valve that can shut off the gas supply. This is not going to be the problem if the refrigerator has been used on propane previously. About the only time this could be off is when the unit is brand new or has been serviced by the dealer. Just wanted you to be aware of its existence.

So help me understand this. My pad next to my garage is not level. It would probably take 4" under one side to level the TT. I have occasionally left it unplugged (running on propane) and the fridge gets warm. If I keep it plugged in to 120V the fridge stays cold. Am I just lucky?

If you are going to run it on gas and want it to be efficient. I would make an effort to level the pad. That way when you are in there it will be more normal, like cabinets and doors will act normal and the fridge will stay colder when parked level.
I would not be hard to make a block big enough to back up on if there is not other way.
