I snugged mine down just the other day. They were nothing close to what's pictured above, but they had loosened up a little. Just about 1/4" on two of them. Snugged them down to where the indicator tabs just touched the roof and all is well!
This is on my maintenance list.

No, there are screws. I think 5 of them IIRC.

I've got the 2016 Pinnacle 36REQS with the ceiling fan underneath where it appears the A/C unit is on the roof. Any idea how to get to those? Do I need to take the ceiling fan down first to get to them? If so that's a poor design IMO.

Good God this is scary. I just checked mine and they were loose! Only bought my trailer in June, and have pulled it maybe 900 miles...

Careful tightening them. There is a compressible foam gasket between the AC unit and the roof. You will see 4 yellow indicator tabs that lay on top of the foam gasket from the inside. You only want to tighten those hold-down bolts until those yellow indicators just touch the roof. You don't want to tighten them until they won't move any more, you'll over-compress that foam gasket.

It's a typical issue and not a reason to panic, but just another thing that needs to be checked regularly.
Another way to tell how tight is that the gaskets are usually 1" thick and should be compressed to about 1/2" when correctly installed.

I'll take a look this weekend. I don't recall any visible screws on the ceiling vent panel so I assumed it just popped off.
Even though my TT doesn't move, I assume vibration from the unit can loosen these up as well as road travel.

I believe that for most of us who have the Coleman units with the "Chill Grille" (or whatever it's called) there are 5 screws that hold that inside grill on. First you remove the cover for the air "filter", then you have access to all screws to remove that cover.
Whatever system you have, you will want to remove whatever access panel or inside unit you have to gain access to the outside unit from the inside.
ETA: I doubt you'll need to do this regularly if your unit is on a seasonal site. And now that I'm trying to visualize it, it might be 7 screws ...

could you add lock-tite to the threads to keep them from working loose ? Or maybe lock-tite and lock washer...............

I seem to recall someone a while back did in fact add ny-lock nuts to theirs. Seems like a good idea to me, as does the lock-tite.
I just check mine once or twice a year, and have only had to adjust twice in 3 years. So, I'm prone to forget that I need to pick up locking nuts.
